We’re looking for an AI engineer who will play a key role in developing the next generation of markerless motion-capture, human virtualization and 3D animation solutions . If you want to be involved in genuine product innovation that solves actual problems across many industries and is enjoyed by millions of users around the world, we’d love to speak to you.

About you and the position:

We’re a startup, so we’d like you to be entrepreneurial, nimble, deeply motivated and goal-oriented.  Because you’d be joining our team at a high level, we’d expect you to be a strong technical leader, as well as open to brainstorming and teamwork with the CTO and CEO, and across the wider team of software developers. Day-to-day responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to push end-to-end deep learning technologies to their limits (and sometimes beyond).  Specifically, you’ll be:

  • designing and implementing state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms
  • developing scalable and robust solutions programmatically
  • supporting and improving our training architecture across the deep learning pipeline
  • optimizing our solutions for production at inference

You will interact with the CTO, CEO,  and a highly-motivated full stack team in a stimulating, collaborative environment.

Required skills and qualifications:

We require a good understanding of machine learning techniques and deep learning architectures and paradigms, specifically a strong knowledge of, and experience using:

  • C++
  • Python
  • Tensorflow
  • CUDA

Additional qualifications:

If would be great if you have these skills, but there’s room to grow into them with us:

RADiCAL is looking to engage one or more content creators who’d like to contribute to our community and marketing outreach efforts.

Background:

Our community of creatives in 3D computer graphics, animation, film, TV and gaming, along with futurists, scientists and design enthusiasts, is fast approaching 100,000 around the world.  What this community does with our technology inspires us to no end. We want to augment that inspiration to show the industry and the world what our technology can do. We’re thefore looking for content enthusiasts with a desire to create engaging short-form visual content inspired by our technology and what our community does with it.

Responsibilities:

You will ideate, develop and create short form video content principally for online distribution across social media channels.  You will use pre-existing footage from our community, customers and partners, as well as develop your own with our AI.  You will work closely with the leadership team at RADiCAL, but you’ll enjoy a good degree of creative autonomy.  Community content creators can work with us as they like – flexibly, remotely, creatively.

Required:

  • Interest in, and experience with, editing polished short-form 2D video content in an engaging way, principally for social media and internet distribution.
  • Some experience with (and a good amount of love for) 3D computer graphics / animation software (Blender, Autodesk, Unreal, Unity, Reallusion, Houdini, WebGL, etc.)

Location: Earth (but we’ll consider other regions).

  • Experience using WebRTC to enable and optimize real-time video streaming between end users and cloud applications.
  • Preferred programming languages:  C++/Python/Go.
  • Experience deploying to commercial, scalable production is a must.

Optional: The ideal candidate also has experience with orchestrating external data sources into the WebRTC communications, such as Unreal Engine pixel streaming and non-video binary data streams.

This position will initially be project-based, but it could evolve into a permanent engagement for the right candidate.

Location: Earth is preferred (but will consider other planets).
